Timing Your Mayan Abdominal Massage

Adding Mayan Abdominal Massage to your fertility treatment protocol is a great way to support and align the uterus for a healthy pregnancy, increase blood flow to the pelvic organs and relax the body. Ideally, the massage should be received at least once per month for three months prior to conception. But sometimes that isn’t always possible, even one massage can offer benefits. The best time to receive the massage is during your follicular phase, before ovulation. If using ART, massage can be performed before the start of follicle stimulating drugs, or two or three days after egg retrieval. If doing a frozen transfer, the massage can be done up to three weeks prior.

Mayan Abdominal Massage should NOT be performed if pregnant or possibly pregnant, or during menses.

Mayan Abdominal Massage can also be used to support healthy digestion and to help treat prolapsed pelvic organs. With these conditions, the massage can be done at any time during your cycle except menses. The number and frequency of treatment will vary between individuals and self care massage is important to perform between sessions.
