Dr. Lewis grew up in Medford Lakes, NJ & Phoenix, AZ and worked for several years in the field of community mental health before relocating to the Pacific NW for medical school. She is a graduate of Bastyr University with a doctorate in naturopathic medicine & a masters of science in acupuncture. Upon graduation she completed a 2-year post-graduate training program in integrative women’s health and has been credentialed by the North American Menopause Society as a certified menopause practitioner. In addition, she has performed acupuncture for fertility issues and in conjunction with IUI/IVF and at the time of embryo transfer.
Dr. Lewis has been in clinical practice since 2003 with a special focus on women’s health, emphasizing acupuncture nutrition and exercise in health maintenance and disease prevention and treatment. She specializes in hormonal changes, including, but not limited to, fertility issues, menstrual disorders, mood issues, weight gain, contraception, vaginal health and sexual concerns for women as they age. She enjoys spending time cooking, traveling, hiking and cycling with her husband.
