This type of therapy is also important during postpartum care by easing the uterus back into place after delivery, as well as helping to reduce scar tissue adhesions after c-section. During pregnancy, Audrey provides support for the first, second, and third trimesters to promote the health and wellness of both mother and child. She has extensive experience in safety and correct positioning of the baby, so that you can have a relaxing massage session with peace of mind, including advanced training in the Spinning Babies technique for labor preparation.
In addition, Audrey offers therapeutic, sports, neuromuscular, and lymph drainage massage, as well as Reiki energy healing, for treating conditions such as: menopausal syndrome, endometriosis, pelvic pain, painful menstruation, acute and chronic pain, and stress. Recently, she has taken a Nationally Certified Continuing Education class focused on Massage Therapy and Breast Cancer. This specialized massage is unique in providing massage therapy and support to breast cancer survivors, as well as, women going the through the treatment process for breast cancer. Every massage session is tailored to the needs of each client on that particular day and stage of the treatment process-be it in active chemotherapy or post mastectomy or lumpectomy rehabilitation.
While Audrey’s interests are in women’s health throughout the lifecycle, she does work on men too! She provides therapeutic massage for acute and chronic pain including frozen shoulder, neck pain, low back pain and sciatica, and abdominal and pelvic pain for both men and women.
