Charlene Hagner is Board Certified in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture, and Chinese Herbology by The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She graduated with a Masters Degree from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine; a nationally top rated accredited school in Portland, Oregon.
After graduating Charlene completed an externship, and learned advanced acupuncture techniques in a Clinical Practice at the University of Nanjing in Nanjing, China. During her studies abroad she studied and treated patients at two hospitals, with Doctors specializing in pain and women’s health conditions.
Charlene’s work experience includes using her knowledge of Oriental Medicine to aid people in the recovery from addictions and depression in various programs in Oregon. Charlene also worked with Holland American Cruise Line, as the primary acupuncturist, for 2 years mixing her love for Oriental Medicine, world history and culture. During her experience she treated people, from around the world, with a wide variety of conditions including back and musculoskeletal injuries, women’s health, and gastrointestinal issues. Charlene offers her patients a balance between acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, Shiatsu, lifestyle and dietary counseling, along with guided meditation.
