The benefits include increased uterine blood flow, supporting uterine lining and alignment, reducing pelvic stagnation, support for the ovaries and improving the follicular environment, reducing the side effects of stress and lowering hormone disruption, and the sense of well being that comes from knowing that you are being cared for and respected in a compassionate way. The ideal timing of this massage is after menses and before ovulation and does include detailed abdominal techniques, work along the sacrum, as well as acupressure and reflexology points that correspond with reproductive health.
Prenatal Massage: Our clinic is equipped in training and tools to safely and effectively perform prenatal bodywork through all stages of pregnancy. Prenatal massage can improve blood flow, reduce swelling and back pain associated with pregnancy, as well as help a mother cope with the physical and emotional changes that come with pregnancy.
Stone Massage: Use of hot and cold stones during this massage help to soften tissue in order to provide a deeper therapeutic effect. The stones also help the recipient feel grounded and provide a deep sense of connection.
Deep Tissue and Myofacial Release: This massage involves a deeper pressure and targets specific areas that can be the source of pain and tension.
