Acupuncture for Pelvic Pain and Endometriosis

Acupuncture and East Asian medicine can be used for a wide range of acute and chronic pelvic pain conditions. There are a lot of causes for pelvic pain and our patients sometimes have received a biomedical diagnosis and sometimes it is undiagnosed. Our approach is to do do a thorough evaluation accessing not only the history and current symptoms of your pain and the acupuncture meridian systems involved but also investigating your constitutional imbalance. By creating a treatment plan addressing not only the pain but the energetic imbalance that accompanies it, we are able to get effective and long lasting results for pain due to structural and hormonal imbalances, pregnancy and birth, muscular tension, scar tissue and endometriosis.

Acupuncture for PCOS

Polycystic ovarian syndrome or (PCOS) is a spectrum disorder that can manifest in different combinations in different women. A strength of East Asian medicine is evaluating each person individually and treating the root issues uniquely. Common manifestations such as irregular cycles, amenorrhea, infertility, weight gain, hair loss, excessive hair growth, acne, depression and anxiety, blood sugar disorders, and hormonal imbalance can all be addressed through acupuncture, herbal formulas, diet, lifestyle changes, and stress reduction.
